Tajka Wierzbicka Alvarado has been designing for camera, stage, and immersive productions since 2011. Native to Poland, she received a B.A. in Fashion Design from IDEP Barcelona with a post-graduate degree in Fashion Marketing & Art Direction in 2015. Since 2016 she has been living and working in Los Angeles. She joined the Costume Designers Guild, IATSE Local 892 in 2023. She is an active member of the CDG Sustainability Committee focusing on reducing production waste.
Tajka designed costumes for her first feature film, An Autumn Summer, in 2022, which she considers her biggest achievement thus far. Her designs have been displayed and appreciated in both Europe and the United States at music, film, fashion, and art festivals. In 2020 she started Tajka Studio, a niche made-to-measure line, which meets the need for functional pockets in women’s clothing. She is fluent in English, Polish, Spanish, and Catalan.
